Do my guests need to download an app?+–
Never. A mikum guide is just a link that opens in any phone browser, in any language. That's true on every plan, including Free.
Is Free really free?+–
Yes. Free forever, no credit card. Free includes one live guide with all the core features, and there are three ways to earn more: invite friends (every 2 who publish their first guide add a free slot, and every 5 also earn you a free month of Premium), claim an invite yourself when you sign up, or give away 2 guides. Free guides carry ads and a small “Made with mikum” footer, which is how new people discover us. Premium removes both and lifts the limit.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?+–
Anytime, in one click, from Billing & invoices in your account menu. If you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your guides drop back to the free allowance. Nothing is deleted, the extras just switch off.
How does annual billing work?+–
Choose Annual and you pay $80 a year: 2 months free versus paying monthly. You're billed once a year and can switch back to monthly at renewal.
Which currencies and taxes?+–
Billing is in USD. Prices shown exclude VAT/sales tax, which is added at checkout based on your location. Billing, invoices and tax are handled by our payment provider.
How do I get help if I'm stuck?+–
Start in the help center. It answers most questions on its own. The chat bubble in the corner takes it from there: an assistant replies first, and hands you to a real person when it can't help. Chat is a Premium support option, but right now it's open to free accounts too. Enterprise adds a dedicated contact with an SLA.
What is Enterprise for?+–
Organizations with many places and many people looking after them: property managers, clinic chains, campuses, franchises. You get several users working on the organization's location guides, branding applied across all of them, an SLA with a dedicated contact, and onboarding and training for your team.
